Woman Waves Goodbye Moments Before Explosion (Video)

Terrifying closed-circuit video from Istanbul, Turkey, showed a woman waving goodbye to friends on March 20, just seconds before a suicide attacker detonated a bomb that killed five people (video below).

In a clip of the explosion, the woman can be seen walking through Istanbul before turning around and waving back at people she knew. A man in black then walks into the camera's view and looks around for several seconds.

Suddenly, the camera's screen turns black and red as the attacker's bomb explodes. The explosion killed five people and injured 36.

"My local shopkeeper told me someone had blown himself up and I walked towards the end of the street," one witness told the Express. "I saw a body on the street. No one was treating him but then I saw someone who appeared to be a regular citizen trying to do something to the body. That was enough for me and I turned and went back."

Two of those killed in the bombing were Americans. Among those injured in the bombing are two Irish nationals as well as German and Icelandic citizens.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of those killed, and we wish a speedy recovery to those injured," National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said in a statement, Fox News reported.

Two of the victims, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, were Israelis.

"We can sadly confirm that two Israeli civilians were killed and we might have a third fatality," Netanyahu said.

Turkey's Interior Minister Efkan Ala confirmed following the attack that the bomber was Mehmet Ozturk, a militant linked to ISIS.

"We have determined that Mehmet Ozturk, born in 1992 in Gaziantep, carried out the heinous attack on Saturday in Istanbul," Ala said during a news conference, BBC reported. "It has been established that he is a member of Daesh." Daesh is another name for ISIS.

Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin said the explosion took place outside of a local government office, and called it a "terrorist attack." Sahin confirmed that the bomber was killed in the attack.
