Picture Of Usain Bolt And Woman Goes Viral

Jady Duarte, a 20-year-old student, recently shared pictures of herself with Olympic track star Usain Bolt on the messaging app WhatsApp, and the photos subsequently made their way to the web.

The London Evening Standard notes that in one of the photos, Duarte appears to be in bed with the bare-chested gold medalist, who is lying face down.

Another picture shows the Jamaican sprinter behind Duarte, who is wearing a white top.

"I just sent it (the picture) to the group of my girlfriends girls, now you see," Duarte told the Brazilian website Extra. "Just I sent and said 'who only saw the Olympics will know who is.'"

"It's very negative," Duarte said of her new-found fame. "I never wanted to be famous, I'm dying of shame."

Bolt was seen partying a club in a suburb of Rio de Janeiro in the early morning hours of Aug. 21.

Duarte reportedly met Bolt at the club where he celebrated his gold medals and his 30th birthday.

"He sent a security guard to call me over," Duarte recalled. "We spoke quickly. But at that moment I didn't know it was him, because there were many Jamaicans who looked similar."

Bolt reportedly been has been dating Kasi Bennett, a 26-year-old Jamaican girl, for two years.

Before the picture scandal broke, Bolt's sister Christine Bolt-Hylton told The Sun on Aug. 21: "I've met [Bennett] and she’s lovely – she’s perfect for Usain. I would say that there’s a very strong possibility they’ll get engaged when he comes home."

After the pictures of Bolt and Duarte appeared on the web, Bennett tweeted: "Doing something I'm pretty sure I've made fun of people for doing... But here goes: I'm tapped out. Logging off," notes the London Evening Standard.

Bolt reportedly flew out of Rio on the evening of Aug. 21, and did not attend the closing ceremony.

Before leaving, the athlete tweeted in Portuguese: "We came, we saw, we conquered. Rio I have endless love for you."

Bolt's spokesman did not comment to the London Evening Standard, but Duarte wrote on Facebook that she was "feeling angry."
