Kurds blow up ISIS suicide bomber’s truck. The Syrian Kurdish forces have moved within 30 miles of the ISIS capital, Raqqa, and continue to be America’s most effective partners in the fight against terror. Turkey, an American ally, sees the Kurds as an anti-Turkish terrorist group, and blames America for the destruction the Kurds have caused along the Turkey/Syria border. Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan says, “Hey, America. Because you never recognized them as a terrorist group, the region has turned into a sea of blood." Will the U.S. alliance with the Syrian Kurds hold for long enough to defeat ISIS?
