'We Will Cut Off Your Head': Barack Obama Named As Target In Newest Islamic State Threats

Islamic State released three new audio and video threats to the United States and several western European countries, warning them of future attacks and demanding the release of hostages.

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) found a video showing three IS fighters behind a kneeling Kurdish fighter. One of the men shouts at the camera: “Know, oh Obama, that we will reach America. Know also that we will cut off your head in the White House, and transform America into a Muslim Province.

“And this is my message to France and to its sister, Belgium," he continued. "We advise you that we will come to you with car bombs and explosive charges, and will cut off your heads.”

The speaker also warned Masoud Barzani, the president of the Kurdish-controlled portion of Iraq.

"But as for you, oh Masoud," he said. "You dog, we are going to behead you and throw you into the trash bin of history. Know that we are men who fear no one. We will institute the laws of Allah, may He be exalted and praised.”

The video ends with the IS fighter slitting the Kurdish man’s throat, with many people watching on the street.

The second threat warned that a Japanese pilot and a Jordanian pilot held hostage by IS would be executed if an arrested woman in Jordan was not released. The woman, Sajida al-Rishawi, is under arrest for the attacks on Amman hotels, where at least 57 people were killed.

IS threatened that the two pilots would be executed if Jordan did not release al-Rishawi. The Japanese pilot can be heard saying: “Any more delays by the Jordanian government will mean [that] they are responsible for the death of their pilot, which then will be followed by mine [i.e. my death]. I only have 24 hours left to live, and the pilot has even less. Please don't leave us to die." IS also demanded $200 million from the Japanese government.

Both men were captured last year in Syria.

The last video released by IS shows the Japanese pilot holding the body of a man that appears to be another Japanese hostage. The pilot had gone Syria to help free the dead man.

The White House did not comment on the newest threats, including the threat made against President Obama and the White House.
