A British sniper has reportedly killed an ISIS executioner as he prepared to kill several hostages.
An SAS sniper fired a single shot at an ISIS executioner from nearly 5,000 feet away as the terrorist prepared to kill 12 hostages with a flame thrower. The bullet hit the fuel tank for the flame thrower, causing the terrorist, along with three other ISIS members who were filming the execution, to be engulfed in flames.
According to Eye Witness News, the executioner was on an American forces "kill list" because he became known for his brutal method of killing prisoners -- burning them alive.
The incident took place near the Syrian city of Raqqa.
After the explosion took out the ISIS members, the hostages were freed by special forces from Britain and the U.S.
A source told the Daily Star that eight men and four women were among the group of hostages nearly killed. They were reportedly suspected of being spies.
"The executioner gave some sort of rambling speech over a loud hailer then when he finished the SAS sniper opened fire," the source said.
