Bungee Jumper Dips Cookie In Tea For World Record (Video)

Simon Berry set a world record for the highest bungee dunk when he plunged 240 feet and 10 inches to dip a cookie into a cup of tea in Berkshire, England (video below).

The 24-year-old Brit jumped off a towering platform at Bray Lake Watersports with a camera attached his head to record his amazing feat, which broke the previous record --- 198 feet and 8 inches --- set in 2013 by American Ron Jones, notes the Guinness World Records website.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Sofia Greenacre verified that Berry had set the record, and handed him a certificate.

Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief of the "Guinness World Records" 2017 edition, was also on hand to watch the amazing jump.

"Going down and having to nail that cup of tea was tricky," Berry said. "The feeling in my chest and seeing everyone smile was fantastic."

Berry's successful stunt was attempted on 12th annual Guinness World Records Day, along with about 600,000 other record seekers, notes the records site.

Keisuke Yokota set a world record by balancing 26 traffic cones on his chin (video below).

Yokota pulled off this stunt in front of Guinness World Records adjudicator Kaoru Ishikawa in his own garden in the Shibuya section of Tokyo, Japan.

Yokota said he practiced for his world record two to three hours a day: "I really appreciate this opportunity ... I want to do my best today."

A Macaw parrot named Skipper Blue set a world record for parrots by placing 19 rings on a target in Los Angeles (video below).

Skipper Blue was cheered on by trainer Wendy Horton while Greenacre watched the feathered feat.

Horton did not help Skipper Blue, but she did prompt the bird by sliding the rings to him one by one.

"Skipper bounced up and down, which can only be understood as she was very happy for this record!" Greenacre stated.
