Authorities just captured an American citizen abroad who joined ISIS. Simple question: Should he banned from returning to America?
Muhammad Jamal Amin is a Virginia-born U.S. citizen. He is believed to be the first U.S. citizen captured after joining ISIS. Approximately 250 Americans have joined ISIS since 2011. Many of them have traveled overseas and since returned to America. Amin was captured by Kurdish fighters in Iraq. He reportedly left ISIS to turn himself in. But the U.S. has yet to take him back. What should the U.S. do with captured ISIS fighters?
