Substitute Teacher Michael Vivanco Arrested For Engaging In Sexual Acts With 13-Year-Old Boy He Met On Mobile App

A man who works as a substitute teacher in Miami has been arrested after allegedly engaging in sex acts with a 13-year-old boy he met on the mobile app Jack’d.

Michael Vivanco, a substitute teacher at Felix Varela Senior High School, was charged with transmission of harmful material to a minor, lewd and lascivious battery, and lewd and lascivious conduct, police said, according to NBC South Florida.

The 22-year-old Vivanco reportedly met the victim on the mobile application called Jack'd, according to authorities. In one message, Vivanco said to the victim: "Show me ur body :)" according to the police report.

The teacher, who is also a boys and girls volleyball coach at Felix Varela Senior High School, picked up the victim and drove him to an undisclosed location where the victim performed oral sex on Vivanco, police said.

Mail Online reports that Jack'd is an app designed for gay men to locate other men looking to meet up in their local area. The app requires those who register to be 18 or older. It was not disclosed if the victim revealed his real age on the app.

Vivanco admitted to meeting the victim on the mobile app and to knowing the victim was a minor, according to the police report.
