Mark Zuckerberg's Sister Randi Zuckerberg Accidentally Posts Family Picture Publicly on Facebook

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s sister Randi Zuckerberg recently posted a photo on Facebook, which was intended for friends, but went public.

The picture showed Mark Zuckerberg in a kitchen with family members over-dramatizing reactions to messages sent with the new 'Poke' feature at Facebook, reports AFP and

Poke lets people send messages that self-destruct, which some say is really used for sexting.

Randi Zuckerberg posted the family photo to Facebook for close friends only, but it was also shared with other friends who were tagged in the picture, thanks to privacy settings at Facebook.

Randi Zuckerberg later said in a Christmas tweet on Twitter: "Digital etiquette: always ask permission before posting a friend’s photo publicly. It’s not just about privacy settings, it’s about human decency.”

However, that tweet sparked heated debate about Facebook's privacy settings. Some saw poetic justice in the Zuckerbergs being exposed by the way Facebook handles the privacy of users.
