Many have speculated what the budget iPhone will look like, and now we can officially imagine a retina display in the design.
While the company is known for making a big profit on quality merchandise, they have taken a step away from their usual way of creating things by planning a budget iPhone, similar to many mid-range Androids on the market today
They have been planning it since 2011, but now plans are becoming more concrete as Apple loses sales to similar phones like the Galaxy.
So far, the phone is known to include a mix of plastic, glass fiber and a retina display.
It will be the same display used in the iPhone 5.
The rumor is based on the predictions by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has been known as a reliable source for Apple rumors.
What remains to be seen is whether the budget iPhone will look drastically different than the iPhone 5.
The company might very well choose to use the same size screen for all iPhones in the future, as Androids continue to boast larger screens.
A release date for the budget iPhone has not been set.
