There are reports that Apple may release two new versions of the iPhone on September 10.
The newest gadgets may be called "iPhone 5S" and the "iPhone 5C," noted ExtremeTech.com.
The iPhone 5C is reportedly cheaper than the iPhone 5S and comes in a plastic case; the “C” stands for “color.”
The iPhone 5C may cost $99 to compete with lower-cost Android phones. The iPhone 5C will also have six color options, a 3.5 inch screen and 5 megapixel camera, say reports.
The iPhone 5S is expected to have the same design as the iPhone 5, but will include a fingerprint reader, 12 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and slow-motion capabilities, as well as a longer battery life.
The iPhone 5S is supposed to include a "night mode" for Apple Maps, which will allow users to move between menus by using head motions.
According to Reuters, both of the new iPhones will run on iOS 7, the newest version of Apple’s mobile operating system.
If reports are accurate, September 10 will be the first time that Apple will unveil two phones on the same day.
