The World Series of Fighting hasn't even debuted, but matchmaker Ali Abdel-Aziz is already promising that all the shows will be filled with great fights from the top to the bottom of the card.
"I'm going to promise the fans, promise the media and promise everyone, every fight I'm going to put together is going to be a stacked card," said Abdel-Aziz on MMA Weekly Radio. "That's what the fans want to see; that's what the fans deserve to see."
The debut show will feature UFC, Strikeforce, kickboxing stars and others. Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski (17-9-1 NC) takes on Strikeforce veteran Devin Cole (20-9-1) in the main event. Also on the five fight main card is the MMA debut of kickboxer Tyrone Spong (0-0).
Abdel-Aziz stands by the company's roster and feels they can deliver great fights that the fans want.
"Guys like Arlovski, Anthony Johnson, Tyrone Spong, Gregor Gracie and Miguel Torres are guys that are already household names in America, and they all put on exciting fights," said Abdel-Aziz. "They each have their own story, and I think fans want to see these guys fight."
The debut card will air on the NBC Sports Network Channel on November 3 from Las Vegas. The second show is already being discussed for January where Tyson Nam (12-4) is expected to make his debut.
"There's going to be some announcements right after the card," said Abdel-Aziz. "There's going to be some very exciting match-ups for our January show."
