Who Will Ronda Rousey Fight Next?

Ronda Rousey is a champion in the biggest MMA promotion, as UFC president Dana White confirmed the decision to award Rousey the first-ever UFC 135-pound female title. White talked about the ex-Olympian following UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit Saturday night.

The boss said no opponent is known right now for Rousey, or a debut date, but said unless another champion in a larger weight class is competing, Rousey will headline. White did say Rousey's first fight would come on pay-per-view.

White let it be known that they are planning to bring in the rest of the female fighters from Strikeforce to form a division, adding, "I'm trying this whole women's thing out," but that Cris Cyborg would not likely be included.

"Our matchmakers have talked, and she doesn't seem excited to fight Ronda," White said. Cyborg is currently suspended following a failed post-fight drug test, and her camp has stated she cannot drop to 135 pounds without possible complications later in life.
