Who Will Diego Sanchez Fight Next?
Diego Sanchez has confirmed where his next fight will take place. Who that fight will involve, however, remains a mystery.
On his Twitter page recently, Sanchez posted, "It's back to 155 for me. Should be good! I'm cutting 45 (pounds) so it better be someone worthy of a five rounder."
Sanchez is working his way back from shoulder surgery, as he has not competed since a loss to Jake Ellenberger earlier his year. That defeat snapped a two-fight win streak for "The Dream," who now sports a career record of 23-5.
Back in 2009, Sanchez faced BJ Penn for the UFC lightweight title, falling by fifth round TKO due to a nasty cut. He is 2-3 overall in his last five fights, including the Penn defeat.
