The worst part about the Minnesota Vikings Monday night loss to the New York Giants, was the fact that Tarvaris Jackson got hurt after he stunk up the joint. So as if he wasn’t bad enough, now he isn’t even healthy enough to go out and give you another poor performance.
So who is to start? The Vikings signed Patrick Ramsey this week to help with the depth chart, but I don’t think throwing him to the wolves (or Bears in this case) with half of a week of practice is a good thing.
Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune speculates that Joe Webb could actually get the start this week.
“As expected the Patrick Ramsey deal has been agreed to and he will practice tomorrow. Sounds like Webb will start Sunday,” Zulgad tweets.
A sixth-round rookie might start this week against the Chicago Bears? Could you imagine if the Vikings were actually really good and fighting for the division? This guy was brought in as a wide receiver more than anything.
Then again, who knows? Maybe he’s the next Tom Brady.
