Vinny Magalhaes: "I Wish Joe Silva Could Send Phil Davis My Way"
Recently returned Vinny Magalhaes has a request for UFC matchmaker Joe Silva. Magalhaes, who defeated Igor Pokrjac, would like a bout with Phil Davis.
"I wish Joe Silva could send Phil Davis my way at some point," wrote Magalhaes on Twitter recently.
Davis earned a victory over Wagner Prado this past weekend at UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar. The win was the first for "Mr. Wonderful" since a loss to Rashad Evans early in 2012. Davis and Prado fought to a no-contest this past summer after an eye poke stopped the fight.
Magalhaes returned to the UFC after leaving following a run on The Ultimate Fighter. He claimed the M-1 Global title during his time away.
