Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has been named as a suspect in an early morning assault Sunday at a Dallas strip club, according to the Dallas Morning News and CBS 11.
Young, a native of Houston who led the University of Texas to a national championship, has not been charged with any crime yet. However, reports say Young is the prime suspect in an assault that happened at 3:30 a.m. inside Club Onyx in Northwest Dallas.
Police say Young was not at the club when they arrived to the scene.
Young was the third overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, and he won the AP's Offensive Rookie of the Year award. However, despite winning eight of ten starts in his most recent season, Young has never materialized into the mega star many had envisioned him becoming.
Young has dealt with off-the-field and personal issues, including a strange incident in 2008 where he disappeared and couldn't be located by his team for a long period of time.
