There have been a lot of doubts raised recently regarding how successful Usain Bolt will ultimately be at the 2012 London Olympics – and justifiably so. On Friday, at the 100 meters Jamaican Olympic trials, Bolt lost to Yohan Blake in one of the more stunning sports upsets of the week that was.
Blake ran his best time ever in the victory – 9.75 seconds, a full .11 better than Bolt. It was also better than Bolt’s world-best 2012 time by .01.
Does this mean that Bolt will definitely be dethroned in London? Probably not. But it still makes things a lot more interesting.
