The Minnesota Timberwolves earned a very impressive 108-105 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Given all of the internal bickering that’s currently going on between Kevin Love and Wolves management, nobody would have been particularly shocked if this group laid an egg against Denver. Instead, they come out hard and managed to overcome a terrible game from their best player en route to eventual victory.
Nikola Pekovic led the way for Minnesota with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Andrei Kirilenko and Luke Ridnour chipped in 18 points and 15 points, respectively. All in all, five Wolves players finished in double figures.
Kenneth Faried led the way for Denver with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Four Nuggets players ultimately finished in double figures.
