In case you have already forgotten, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant is really, really good.
During a brief appearance at Rucker Park on Monday, Durant went absolutely nuts on the competition and dropped 66 points. Most of the damage was done via three-point shots, so take from that what you will.
Some may be understandably dubious at just how big of an accomplishment that truly is -- given Rucker Park’s reputation as a place for showboating and zero defense -- but according to ESPN, the all-time single-game scoring record down there is 68 points.
It’s amazing what this guy can do when he doesn’t have Russell Westbrook refusing to pass him the ball.
