Thomas Robinson proved on Wednesday night that it’s never too early to become a dirty player.
In the fourth quarter, with his Sacramento Kings up by five, Robinson inexplicably threw a hardcore elbow right into Jonas Jerebko’s throat. It was a blatantly unnecessary blow, and the referees caught it immediately. As Jerebko lay on the floor, writhing in pain, Robinson was charged with a flagrant and thrown out.
Check out the play below:
This was every bit as dirty as Metta World Peace’s elbow to James Harden’s head. The only difference is, obviously, that involved two marquee players on two marquee teams, and this involves two players and two teams that nobody cares about.
What do you think: a.) should Robinson be suspended? and b.) if so, for how long?
