Video: Riley Cooper Almost Pulled Off the Best Trick Play Ever During Eagles vs. Saints

The Philadelphia Eagles flamed out against the New Orleans Saints on Monday night in relatively underwhelming fashion. New Orleans controlled this game from the onset, and aside from a portion of the third quarter, the final outcome never really looked like it was in doubt.

For what it’s worth, Philadelphia did show some signs of life on one play. A trick play, to be exact.

Unfortunately, the 93-yard touchdown return didn’t count because the pass that Brandon Boykin threw to Cooper was a blatant forward pass. That play pretty much tells you everything you need to know about the Eagles’ season.
