Earlier this year the New York Knicks blew out the Miami Heat in embarrassing fashion. The general consensus around the NBA world on Thursday night was that there was no way Miami wouldn’t be motivated to gain some measure of revenge in the rematch. Yeah, apparently they weren’t. The Heat ultimately fell (at home) 112-92 to a Camelo Anthony-less Knicks squad.
Raymond Felton led the winning side with 27 points and seven assists. Steve Novak pitched in 18 points off the bench (four-of-nine from behind the arc). And, steady as always, Tyson Chandler had 13 points and nine rebounds.
Predictably, LeBron James led all scorers in this one with 31 points. He also had 10 rebounds and nine assists – tops on the Heat in both categories. Dwyane Wade finished with 13 points on three-of-13 shooting; Chris Bosh had 12 points on three-of-12 shooting.
