A rested and composed Rajon Rondo led his Boston Celtics to a 104-94 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Rondo finished with 17 points and 11 assists. (The new consecutive games with 10+ assists streak has officially begun.) Paul Pierce had 18 points, shooting six-of-15 from the field. Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry pitched in 17 points apiece. In total, all five starters finished in double figures for Boston
Meanwhile, Kevin Love led the way for Minnesota with 19 points (six-of-15 shooting) and 13 rebounds. Nikola Pekovic had 14 points and nine rebounds. Derrick Williams had two points off the bench, which definitely won’t enhance his value in the Los Angeles Lakers’ eyes.
