With two outs and the bases loaded, Delano (Minn.) High School needed to do something big. Realizing this much, the team’s coach, Dan Paulson, reached into his bag of tricks and pulled out a little something that his squad calls El Black. Why do they call it El Black? Because it sounds cool, probably.
Anyway, back to what happened. The trick play began with the pitcher faking a throw to second base. Then, as everyone (including everyone watching this video at home) gazed into the outfield, mistakenly thinking that the pitcher had overthrown his second baseman, the pitcher revealed the ball that he had secretly been hiding the whole time, and picked off the guy who was trying to score from third.

And that, ladies and gentleman, is how it’s done.
It's hard to have a play that lives up to a name as cool as El Black, but this one most definitely did.
