The Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs both emerged as losers from this week’s Monday Night Football showdown. The latter squad choked away a game it should have won, essentially guaranteeing no more victories for Kansas City football fans until maybe Dec. 9. The former squad, despite the win, lost its superstar quarterback to what is being whispered about as a “potentially serious” injury.
Really, the only legit winner from last night’s game is Mike Wallace. Why was he was the big winner? Because he made this extraordinary catch that ultimately put his team back into the ballgame:
Wallace better get used to tough catches. With Byron Leftwich at the controls, he will probably have the opportunity to make a lot more of them in the coming weeks.
