The Charlotte Bobcats are 7-14 thus far this season. While that admittedly isn’t the greatest wins and losses total ever, after last year, it’s probably a welcome sight for most Bobcats fans. (The fact that the Los Angeles Lakers are only two games better likely helps.)
Even though this team is obviously better than it was in 2011, when you look at the roster, it’s not particularly impressive. Outside of Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, most of these guys don’t have the talent to be anything other than reserves for legitimate contenders.
Recently, team owner Michael Jordan worked out with his players. Based on how he looked and the level of talent on his roster, it’s not a stretch to say that -- if he suited up -- he’d probably be the fourth best player on the squad right now.
It’s a good thing we know that Michael Jordan isn't the type to unretire on a whim.
