Video: Matt Cain Pitches 1st Perfect Game in San Francisco Giants History

Matt Cain pitched the San Francisco Giants' first ever perfect game in a 10-0 victory over the Houston Astros on Wednesday night. A member of the 2010 World Series team, Cain has lived through all of the highs and lows that have plagued his squad over the last few years – making him the perfect and most deserving person imaginable to etch his name into Giants lore with this ridiculous feat.

Cain struck out 14 players (tying Sandy Koufax for most ever in a perfect game) and compiled a Sabermetric score of a 101 (second-highest in a 9-inning outing) en route to throwing only the 22nd game of its kind in MLB history.
