While the Miami Heat is generally recognized as the Eastern Conference’s lone superpower, the Chicago Bulls have slowly but surely developed into arguably the most complete team in the NBA.
On Saturday night, in a surprisingly competitive battle against the not-very-good Toronto Raptors, the Bulls found a way to eek out their league-leading 40th win of the season in impressive fashion. Following an unsuccessful, blocked attempt at a game-winner by C.J. Watson with just seconds to go and his team down by one, Luol Deng found himself at the right place at the right time to tip the ball in as time expired.
