While their Staples Center roommates have obviously been stealing all the headlines as of late, it's the Los Angeles Clippers who are quietly continuing to rack up victories. On Wednesday night, as Kobe Bryant was basking in the limelight for hitting the 30,000 career points mark, the Clippers beat down the Dallas Mavericks 112-90.
Jamal Crawford led all scorers with 20 points off the bench on seven-of-12 shooting. Blake Griffin and Caron Butler had 19 points and 16 points, respectively. Chris Paul chipped in 14 points (five-of-10 shooting) and 13 assists. All in all, six L.A. players finished in double figures.
Meanwhile, Vince Carter led the way for Dallas with 16 points off the bench. Derek Fisher chipped in 15 points on five-of-11 shooting, too. (!) Five Mavericks players finished in double figures.
