Random fame-hungry people jumping onto the baseball field and embarrassing their families is nothing new. We’ve seen it happen for years, to mixed results. Sometimes the dumb fan in question gets off easy and security simply gives them a soft tackle before eventually dragging them off the field. Other times, security lays them out with a full body hit or busts out the taser.
The one thing that every case of a clown jumping onto the field has in common, though, is the fact that it’s always folks of seemingly legal age. You never see a preschool dropout charge the field and evade stadium police.
Or at least that used to be the case.
Check out who decided to run onto the field during Thursday’s White Sox versus Orioles showdown:
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
