The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 12-game winning streak on Thursday night. As is typically the case when Kevin Durant plays basketball, though, he is the one who ultimately came through with the highlight of the night.
With about five minutes remaining in the third quarter and his team down by 12, Durant took the ball in hoping to get a bucket and the foul. Unfortunately, the defense saw him driving and swarmed – forcing Durant to hastily throw up a shot as he drew contact.
This is what followed:
Durant finished with 33 points for the day. He and Russell Westbrook combined for 63 of OKC’s 93 points.
