Video: Jordan Farmar Hits Game-Winner to Lift Nets Over Clippers

What Jordan Farmar is and what Jordan Farmar thinks he can be have always been two very different things.

Farmar is a talented roleplayer who could play a valuable role speeding the game up and sprucing up a winning team’s bench. That’s what he is as an NBA player. Unfortunately, Farmar thinks he can be Tony Parker. That’s why he left a championship Los Angeles Lakers squad that had relegated him to the second unit to join up with a squad going nowhere fast like the New Jersey Nets.

On Wednesday night with his team down two, Farmar sunk a clutch three leaving .2 seconds on the clock. Needless to say, the Nets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 101-100 as a result. It was a nice moment and one that the talented point guard will no doubt savor for a while, but it also doesn’t change the fact that the reason his impactful shots are so few and far between is because he opted to switch from a great team to a horrible team (on Wednesday alone they blew an 18-point second half lead before his heroics) just to get more minutes.

Check out Farmar’s shot in the video below.
