Coming off a rough Sunday showdown where Rajon Rondo absolutely torched him in every possible regard, New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin needed a big, confidence-boosting game versus the Dallas Mavericks. He didn’t get it. As the Knicks dropped their second in a row and fifth out of their last eight, Lin ended up with a very mere mortal line of 14 points (on four-of-13 shooting) and seven assists (two turnovers).
New York clearly has all of the pieces necessary to be a ferocious squad in the East but, for whatever reason, Mike D’Antoni and Co. can’t seem to get on the same page.
