The Los Angeles Lakers fell to Jeremy Lin, James Harden and the rest of the Houston Rockets 107-105 on Tuesday night. Hilariously enough, Los Angeles actually held a 13-point lead with 10 minutes left in the outing; however, a mix of awful defense, terrible free throw shooting and horrendous coaching proved to be a great equalizer.
Toney Douglas led the way for Houston with 22 points off the bench. James Harden had 15 points (on three-of-19 shooting), 10 rebounds and six assists. Jeremy Lin had four points (on two-of-eight shooting) and three assists. All in all, six Rockets players finished in double figures.
Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant led the way for Los Angeles with 39 points on 14-of-31 shooting. Dwight Howard pitched in 16 points, but he also ended up converting on only eight of his 16 free throws.
