People may not remember it now, but during his run with the New York Knicks last season Jeremy Lin proved himself to be pretty clutch. Sure the sample size was small and yes it was only the Knicks, but that doesn’t change the fact that Lin definitely came through in big moments for his old team.
Given his (successful but limited) history in those big moments, it wasn’t particularly shocking when Lin got the ball with the game on the line during Monday’s showdown between the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat. What was surprising, however, was the end result.
