The Houston Rockets fell to the Toronto Raptors 103-96 on Sunday. If ever there was an indicator that a given basketball team is in trouble, them losing to the woeful Raptors would definitely be it.
James Harden scored 28 points in defeat, but once again those points came in less-than-spectacular fashion. (Seven-of-18 shooting.) Jeremy Lin had seven points, two assists and three turnovers. Three out of five starters finished in double figures – but only one of them shot above 50 percent from the field.
Alan Anderson led the way for Toronto in this one, scoring 24 points in 25 minutes of action. DeMar DeRozan and Jose Calderon chipped in 19 points and 18 points, respectively.
