The Kansas City Chiefs are all sorts of awful, and that proven fact didn’t change on Sunday when they fell to the San Diego Chargers like we all knew they would. (Remember when some analysts pegged the Chiefs as a darkhorse team to watch in 2012?) The squad’s one lone bright spot, however, found a way to shine through the awfulness once again.
With five minutes to go in the second quarter and his team down by 20, running back Jamaal Charles put together a ridiculous 37-yard touchdown run.
Check it out:
Charles ultimately finished the game with 92 yards on the ground and two scores – one receiving and one rushing. (Two fumbles, too, but at least he took responsibility for those.)
