Video: Floyd Mayweather Goes on Profanity-Laced Rant About Manny Pacquiao’s Drug Use

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has never really attempted to hide his disdain for Manny Pacquiao. Over the last three years he’s taken every opportunity presented to him to cast doubt on the Filipino champion’s track record, his versatility and his unique ability to jump from division to division with such ease and success. His statements have led to fights between the pair in the courtroom, through the media and in just about every other place imaginable outside of the only one that folks actually care about.

Recently, while at a media gathering for his upcoming May 5 bout against Miguel Cotto, Mayweather went back to doing what he does best – questioning his arch rival's legitimacy.

“I’m going up in weight but I’m not just walking through no damn fighters,” Mayweather said (via Daily Mail). “This motherf***er was 106lbs [when he started] and he’s just walking through Cotto. And Cotto can’t knock down [Shane] Mosley, but he can? Come on man.

“Go back and look at the pictures. His head is small and then all of a sudden his head just grew? Come on man, stop this. Go back and look at the pictures and tell me this man’s head didn’t get bigger. You’re going to tell me this s*** is all natural. Come on man, stop.”

At certain points throughout the multi-year back-and-forth war that we’ve had between Mayweather and Pacquiao, it’s felt like some of it was strictly for public consumption. Super fight promotion for the superfight to end all superfights, if you will. Even the defamation suit that Pacquiao filed against Mayweather – it’s been going on for years with nothing to show for it.

But just by seeing the emotion in Mayweather’s rant you can see it’s not for show to him. He legitimately seems to believe that his place in boxing is being challenged by a guy who climbed up the sport’s hierarchy in dishonest fashion. And all these years later, he still seems pretty salty about it.
