Video: Euro 2012 Fans Riot, Attack Stadium Employees After Russia vs. Czech Republic
Friday night’s Euro 2012 showdown between Russia and the Czech Republic was hijacked by a massive riot at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw. In what the always honest and up-front UEFA is referring to as a “brief and isolated incident,” several stewards were left beaten and battered by an unruly and quite clearly insane group of fans.
All in all four stewards were hospitalized as a result of these attacks – something that basically completely overshadows Russia’s inconsequential 4-1 victory.
