The Miami Heat are currently in the process of imploding. Three games in into the second round, Miami has already lost homecourt advantage and currently finds itself down 2-1 to the Indiana Pacers.
With quite possibly their second best player now out until at least the next series and Dwyane Wade playing arguably the worst basketball of his career, there doesn’t appear to be an end in sight for the Heat’s woes.
During Thursday night’s Game 3 between Indiana and Miami, everyone frustrations came to a boil when head coach Erik Spoelstra and Wade had a very serious-looking altercation over by the Heat bench. Check it out:
Predictably, the Heat lost that game 94-75.
At the end of the day, just between LeBron James and Wade, there is -- in theory -- enough talent to beat the Pacers. Heck, that’s probably enough to talent to come out of the East – period. But things definitely don’t look as rosy for LeBron and Co. as they once did.
This would probably be as good a time as any for LeBron's elbow to start hurting again.
