Chris Paul’s Los Angeles Clippers got swept by the San Antonio Spurs in largely unspectacular fashion on Sunday night. While you can’t really blame the Clippers for not being able to compete with a squad that boasted the sort of smarts, skills and experience that the Spurs clearly had, the way that they went down opened a lot of people’s eyes to the difference between flashy highlights and actual substance.
Before ultimately flaming out in Game 4, Paul offered fans one last memory of why he’s the best point guard in the NBA. Check it out:
Paul ultimately finished 23 points, 11 assists and six rebounds – but he also missed a couple of key shots in the last 30 seconds that could have prolonged the inevitable for at least one more game.
This is going to be an interesting summer for the Clipps.
