Every young high school football player has his own process for picking what university he’ll attend. Some opt for the best football team. Some go for where they’ll get the best education. Coaching. Playing time. Teammates. Location. All of those factors and many more inevitably get considered.
This past Wednesday, though, Cassanova McKinzy out of Birmingham broke the mold. He found a unique, totally relevant reason to attend a school that we really had never heard before. After narrowing his options down to either Auburn or Clemson, McKinzy made his final decision based off of the fact that Clemson “had no Chick-Fil-A on campus. You had to go 15 minutes off-campus to go to a real restaurant."
Yes, he chose Auburn over Clemson because there is apparently an abundance of Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the area.
It was excellent.
