Suzy Favor-Hamilton is a former U.S. Olympic runner who competed in the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Games. She also took part in seven U.S. National Championships and held the American records in the 1000m and the indoor 800m. In 1998, she won a bronze medal at the Goodwill Games.

According to The Smoking Gun, Favor-Hamilton has been associated with “one of Las Vegas’s premier escort services” since last December. Her interesting way of supplementing income went undetected for the better part of 2012 until she apparently began telling her clients what her true identity was.
Favor-Hamilton, 44, is married to a lawyer and has a 7-year-old daughter. Her husband was apparently aware of her little hobby.
“He tried, he tried to get me to stop. He wasn’t supportive of this at all,” she said.
So, what would lead an accomplished athlete down this torrid path? Per the report:
Favor Hamilton described the escort business as “exciting,” an illicit midlife diversion from her routine existence, one in which she operates a successful Madison…
In the end, despite the inevitable judgment that will come her way, Favor-Hamilton has no problem fessing up to what happened.
“I take full responsibility for my mistakes. I’m not the victim and I’m not going that route,” she said.
“I’m owning up to what I did. I would not blame anybody except myself.”
She added: “Everybody in this world makes mistakes. I made a huge mistake. Huge.”
