Round 1: The two giving themselves some respect early on. Ellenberger now lands a powerful left hook that floors Kampmann. He sends a flurry of punches to "The Hitman" on the ground and now has a body lock on him. Kampmann seems to have weathered the storm and now is controlling Ellenberger's posture as he regains his composure. Kampmann now going for a guillotine and Ellenberger needs to be careful. This is how Kampmann finished his last fight against Thiago Alves. The two get back to their feet and the round ends.

Fightline scores the round 10-9 for Ellenberger

Round 2: Ellenberger sends some quick shots Kampmann's way and sends him towards the end of the cage again. Can never underestimate his power and quickness. Kampmann now bleeding from his nose pretty heavily. Kampmann now goes for the clinch and throws three straight knees that land clean. The last drops Ellenberger before finishing up with some punches. Referee Steve Mazzagatti comes in quickly to stop the fight. Could be a little early stoppage but it seemed Ellenberger was rattled and unlikely to defend.

Martin Kampmann defeated Jake Ellenberger via TKO (knees) at 1:40 in the second round.

Surprising victory for Kampmann who showcased his power from the clinch. There ends "The Juggernaut's" rise to the top of the division.
