The Ultimate Fighter 16 Episode 5 Rewind
Shane Carwin's team took a 3-1 lead over Roy Nelson on The Ultimate Fighter Fridays this past week. Igor Araujo earned a majority decision victory over Nic Herron-Webb to advance.
Araujo, a 31-year-old who lives in Switzerland half the year and teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu at a school, trains with former TUF winner Diego Brandao at Jackson's MMA in New Mexico.
"I felt really happy because I won my fight on my son's birthday," said Araujo, a father of two. "It was really strange fighting in the TUF gym, with Dana White watching; I felt so much pressure."
Araujo joins Bristol Marunde and Neil Magny from Team Carwin to earn wins. Joey Rivera is the lone winner from Team Nelson so far.
