The Ultimate Fighter 16 Debut Earns Weak Ratings
The numbers are in, and maybe Friday night just isn't the right spot for The Ultimate Fighter. The 16th season, and second on FX, debuted this past Friday night, and the ratings are not good.
According to MMAWeekly.com, the two-hour episode that featured 16 fights, drew just 947,000 viewers. The first season of TUF on FX drew 1.3 million for the first episode and averaged slightly more than one million following.
This season, 16 welterweights are competing. The coaches are heavyweights Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin.
