UFC on FX 4 Round-by-Round Review: Nick Catone vs. Chris Camozzi

Round 1: Catone looking strong, landing several powerful strikes directly to the face. Camozzi being very patient so far, but eats a big knee by Catone to the face.

Camozzi does avoid the takedown attempt. Catone now with control of the cage, as Camozzi hits a big left to the back of the ear. Catone fires a huge right that misses, and Camozzi fires back with a knee and is pushing Catone up against the fence. Catone sweeps off and takes back the center of the Octagon. Left by Camozzi lands as a glancing blow, and it hits a short elbow, but eats a combo by Catone in the process. Camozzi avoids the double-leg takedown attempt by Catone. Catone keeps trying for a takedown, and gets it this time with a single-leg. He goes into the mount position, landing an elbow and another.

FightLine scores the round 10-9 for Catone

Round 2: Catone tries for an uppercut, but Camozzi fires of a 1-2 strike that lands and nearly floors Catone. However, Catone gets his levels back and goes on the attack, firing off a combo of his own. The two hand-fight, and Catone gets the best of it with a big left that lands. Loud "Jersey Devil" chant for Catone, as Camozzi fires in and tries to push the pace. Big uppercut misses by Catone, but he returns with a right. Camozzi fights off another takedown attempt and is in control of the clinch. Catone's single-leg is enough this time, as he runs the pipe, gets low and puts Camozzi on his back with less than a minute to go in the round again. Catone not doing much damage on the ground despite being in a dominate position.

FightLine scores the round 10-9 for Catone

Round 3: Camozzi hurts Catone big time right off the bat, as he might have broke his face. Camozzi is on the attack, pushing the action and landing a big right. Catone tries to fire off a blow, but doesn't seem to have a lot behind anything right now with the constant blood loss. The ref steps in to check out the cut, as blood appears to be going into the eyes. That's it, as the ref waves his arms and ends the fight for Camozzi behind his third round attack based around a big knee to the face.
