UFC on FUEL TV 2 Round-by-Round Review: Paulo Thiago vs. Siyar Bahadurzada

Afghani welterweight Bahadurzada makes his UFC debut against the hard-nosed Brazilian Thiago.

Round 1: They touch gloves and take to the center. It's a measured pace to start this one, both men gauging their range. Thiago makes the first move, charging in behind an overhand right. Bahadurzada meets him with a glancing left hook and short right hand of his own. Thiago runs right into it and falls face first to the mat. Siyar walks away. It's over.

That marks the first time that Thiago has ever been finished. Quite a way for Bahadurzada to signal his presence in the UFC.

Siyar Bahadurzada defeated Paulo Thiago via KO (punch) at :42 of round 1

"I did feel it. I think my right hand is broken."
