We head to the lightweight ranks, as former college wrestling standout Marcus LeVesseur (22-8) takes on Abel Trujillo (9-4). LeVesseur replaced Tim Means, who was forced out of the fight after suffering a fall in a sauna prior to weigh-ins on Friday. The referee will be Anthony Hamlett.
Round 1: LeVesseur with a stiff kick and goes for a quick takedown, getting it and putting Trujillo on the mat. Trujillo gets back, as LeVesseur holds him against the fence. LeVesseur working for another takedown, as Trujillo fights it off with elbows and punches while defending. Trujillo catches LeVesseur with a left coming in, and LeVesseur goes right back to work on a takedown. Crowd, and Trujillo, appear to be getting restless by the lack of action, as LeVesseur continues to try for a takedown. Trujillo just teeing off with body shots, as LeVesseur drops to the ground for a brief second. Trujillo lands a knee as LeVesseur goes for a takedown and pounces, as Trujillo lands several more shots to the body.

Round 2: Trujillo landed 72 strikes in the opening round, missing on just a handful as LeVesseur only tries for takedowns. Trujillo grabs a choke, but LeVesseur rolls, however, Trujillo winds up on his back and moves to a North-South choke position. LeVesseur slips out, but Trujillo takes the back. Another knee by Trujillo and he winds up on top. Appears that the right eye of LeVesseur is swollen shut, likely from that knee at the end of the first. Trujillo lands some big rights and takes the back again of LeVesseur. On the way up, Trujillo catches LeVesseur. A right sends LeVesseur flying back, as LeVesseur goes for a single-leg takedown and is denied by Trujillo. Hard knee to the body by Trujillo, who lands a pair of knees to the body, and another. Trujillo is holding LeVesseur down and striking his body with just over a minute to go. After another series of strikes, this one is all over.
